A friend of mine wanted a small aquarium for his bedroom so I told him about the Ecoxotic EcoPico Desktop Aquarium. After looking at the pictures I showed him, he went ahead and purchased it. He’s new to planted aquariums so he needed my help. After receiving the package, I came over and helped him aquascape and setup the aquarium. Check out the video!
I received a couple photos of the new EcoPico Desktop Aquarium by Ecoxotic and was completely in awe. I have been wanting to get a rimless aquarium for quite some time, but due to not having a nice place to display it, I never got around to purchasing one. I’ve also contemplated about getting 30-C rimless nano, however, in this case, several factors like choosing a filter and lighting were holding me back. As I continued my search for a rimless nano aquarium, it seems like the EcoPico was everything that I was looking for.
Ecoxotic seems to have got it right by offering pretty much an all-in-one rimless desktop aquarium; just add a heater and you’re set. From the pictures, the EcoPico is definitely indeed a simple and minimalistic style aquarium leaving the creativity to the aquarist. I am looking forward to getting my own EcoPico and luckily there are a few pet stores in my area that carries them.
