I posted a video of my 5.5G shrimp aquarium a while back and at the time the aquarium housed both crystal black and crystal red shrimp. I spent some time this weekend taking down the shrimp aquarium and decided to separate the blacks from the reds. The crystal blacks are now in their new 20G long aquarium and enjoying their new home.

Video: 5.5G Shrimp Aquarium
I have had great success with my dwarf shrimp over these past few months. When I moved this aquarium into the new location a few months ago, I barely had any shrimp. To my surprise, they seem to have been breeding regularly and the colony has grown. The aquarium consists of crystal red shrimp, crystal black shrimp, and a couple orange eye blue tigers.
I plan to set up a shrimp rack within the next few weeks and will start separating the shrimp and focusing on getting higher quality grades. Here is a video of the shrimp aquarium after a small water change. The shrimp always seem to be so active every time I do one.
